I almost feel like I’m cheating on tumblr for checking out pinterest. But there’s so much hype about it. The problem is I just don’t have the patience to keep up too many accounts. I guess I’ll wait and see which one wins out.

DIY Mess Free Sharpie Pen Tie Dye. My obsession: sharpie pens. I tie dyed when I was younger (I was in Brownies and 4-H) and it was messy and maybe we didn’t do it right, but we got lots of washed out looking purple shirts. I like this controlled approach to Tie Dying. And now that I got my cheap sharpies at buy.com (also cheap at Costco), I can try this. Tutorial from Sun Scholars (hey, I don’t look down on sites for kids! That means I can probably do it!) here.

What you Need:
Pre-washed white t-shirt
Sharpie® permanent markers (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)
Plastic cup
Rubber band
Rubbing alcohol (70% from the drug store)Dropper bottle or medicine dropper

Celtic Heart Knot

This video shows you how to make your own Celtic heart knot!

This is an excellent knot to incorporate into your love spells. As you tie your knot, visualize the traits that you would like your future lover to have. Funny, attractive, or intelligent are some ideas to start off with! When your knot is done it will be charged with your intent and will assist you in attracting/meeting “the one.”

You can also make these and give them away to friends, crushes or family. If you celebrate, they would make an excellent gift for Valentine’s day.

Oreo Cookies & Cream Cheesecake | La Mia Vita Dolce

Someone pointed out to me that I only post dessert recipes, and I replied: ‘Der, desserts are the best thing ever’. If you agree with me, then check out this awesome cheesecake recipe! I love the pattern that the Oreo cookie leaves on the bottom of the wrapper. Lovely for dinner parties but they’re so little you could keep them in the freezer for those times when you really need something sweet!
